Rooms are well cleaned and of a good size, mostly quiet, and the king sized beds with fluffy pillows were found to be comfortable; the spaciousness of the bathroom also appealed. .

The coffee machine, the breakfast bar and the meal were all well liked and set guests up for the day feeling that the hotel offers value for money. .

Some front desk problems occurred, there were problems with checking in which included the inability to read a credit card, and an obvious lack of security consciousness when there were a number of people waiting to check in. Changing an unsatisfactory room location proved to be difficult. .

The location is near busy roads, and noise intrudes to some extent, dependent on the room location, and it is also necessary to have a car as there is not much in the immediate vicinity for pedestrians. Not all guests were happy with firm beds, and some found the breakfast area too cramped with not enough seating; they did not like having Fox news being relayed while they breakfasted. .

Lack of a swimming pool is seen as a disadvantage, particularly by guests who are not used to Texan heat. A faulty toilet ran all night, and lack of soundproofing meant that neighbours above and to the side were noisily evident. Musty smelling rooms, one with mould apparent, were off-putting. Old fashioned noisy climate systems, bath tubs, rooms and TVs all proved to be too small: this is Texas after all! All in all some investment would be beneficial.
