Hotel Comfort Inn Downtown (Morro Bay, USA)

For those who think all Comfort Inns are lower budget choices, this hotel is a nice surprise. The rooms are nicely appointed and decorated, as well as being clean and comfortable. The hotel is also within a nice and quiet neighborhood and the staff is very pleasant.

The hotel is situated right across from Morro Bay Rock in the bay and offers lovely sunset views and great views from many rooms. Plus, the nearby town is charming and guests can easily walk to the waterfront and town areas which have many activities, shops, and restaurants.

This hotel provides a good value in an expensive area. There are a lot of freebies, like free parking, free WiFi, and free breakfast. The TVs in the rooms are large and new. The bedding is nicer and guests have plenty of pillows without having to ask.

The price of the hotel is more expensive than other Comfort Inn prices around the country. Also, the price does fluctuate on the weekend and for specific events, rising to take advantage of the business. In all, it seems a bit pricey for a budget choice.

Not all rooms have views and the absence of balconies doesn't take advantage of the location. There is really nothing exceptional in the stay; however, there really isn't anything horrible either. In all, it's just a quiet night in an okay room.

The air conditioning units are older and are very loud. This can interfere with a good night's sleep. Other features, such as carpeting, are also showing signs of age.
