The 2-star Combes Family Inn, an 1891 farmhouse off Vermont's scenic route 100 set on 50 acres in the rolling hills of Vermont. The inn offers a respite from today’s hectic lifestyle. Enjoy the country breakfasts and 4 course country dinners. Relax by a roaring fire on cool nights or take brisk walks on the country road, drive through little towns with covered bridges, antique shops, unique country stores, and spectacular views. Minutes from lakes and local watering hole for swimming, and Okemo Mountain Resort for golfing, the Adventure Zone, concerts to fireworks, downhill (stay and ski packages available from the inn) and cross country skiing. The farmhouse purchased in 1978 by the Combes has 11 cozy, country inspired guests rooms - 6 in the main house and 5 attached to the farmhouse( pets welcomed here) - all with private baths, and air-conditioning. Wifi available. Rates vary according to the season. BYOB (bring your own booze). Children are welcome.
