If you are looking for a hotel with a beautiful swimming pool in Maha Sarakham, Coconut Palms is unique and is the only small and private boutique hotel with a pool in the Maha Sarakham area. We are rated 4 stars on Agoda, Airbnb and Google The 3 bungalows are all facing the pool and have European furnishings, Italian tiled bathrooms and American standard wash and toilet bowls. The king size beds and mattresses are very comfortable and European quality, nothing like most of the hotels in Thailand. They also have Aircon, Fan, WIFI, Satellite TV and a sofa-bed, so can sleep a max of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 x children. We also have two double rooms also facing the pool and one has its own private upstairs terrace overlooking the resort. Same facilities as the bungalows but no sofa bed and for 2 adults only. Our hotel is a little oasis in the middle of Thailand and most of our guests return to stay every time they are in the area. Everyone loves the pool, garden, pond and cabana where they can sit and relax with friends, have lunch or lounge by the pool. We have a 7 Eleven just a few minutes walk up the road for food, snacks, drinks and most things you will need. Several small shops and restaurants are also nearby. Opposite the hotel is the Nong Bua reservoir and lake where, if you are into water sports, we have some kayaks available to rent for guests only. There is a large WAT (Buddhist temple) and Thai Food market all within walking distance of Coconut palms. Getting around There are Busses, Taxis, Jeepneys and Tuk Tuks that run all day long to the city centre and the Sermthai Complex where you can shop and dine in all the major restaurants like KFC, Starbucks, McDonald's, Black Canyon, Suchi, Pizza Hut and a major Cinema complex for all the latest movies. The Mahasarakham Student campus is only 10 minutes drive and has a Night market several times per week and many bars, clubs and restaurants and lets not forget the Thai BBQ places "everywhere" (eat as much as you like for 99 to 150 Baht) The hotel is about 45 minutes from Khon Kaen airport, only 10 minutes from the University and 15 minutes from the Mahasarakham town centre. Set amongst tropical coconut and palm trees in Kantarawhichai village, Maha Sarakham.
