Hotel Cladhan (Falkirk, United Kingdom)

A three course meal doesn't cost much at this place, and it's delicious. You definitely get value for money. You are served large portions with plenty of choice as well.

Being just a few minutes away from the centre of town is very advantageous. The hotel is nicely situated in Falkirk. The Callander House is right around the corner and there are buses and trains available to take you to the key local attractions. The facility is right off the main street and easy to locate from the motorway. You won't have to be too concerned about parking as there is plenty for visitors. Even if the car park is full, there are additional options.

Rooms are large. They even have rooms with three beds and two TVs. Cleaning is adequate and fresh towels are given daily. There's plenty of complimentary tea and coffee provided as well.

Upon first approach, everything looks fine. But as usual, “the devil is in the details.” You may find fixtures falling off the wall, windows that don't close properly, keys that don't work, TV that won't come on, and an outdated hallway décor.

Though the hotel is convenient, the neighbourhood itself is a bit tacky. There are a bunch of high rise flats and what appears to be council housing. Overall, the area is a bit run down.

There's nothing worse than those visitors who act as if there is no one else in the building. Don't be surprised to hear music blasting till the wee hours, doors slamming, and other disturbances.
