Hotel Chic&Basic Velvet (Barcelona, Spain)

Eco Sant Angelo is located a short distance away from Las Ramblas. Meaning, you are close enough to all the fun and excitement. Simultaneously, you won’t need to worry about extra traffic noise keeping you up late at night.

Within a short walking distance from the hotel are Rocafort and Espanya — two key metro stations you can use to get around. With such easy transportation options, you can get up and out for the day.

All around the surrounding area are various bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. Right on the street is a craft beer pub, as well as a supermarket that sells everything from beer to ice cream.

The hotel is very basic, so you won’t get the frills of a four-star hotel. It doesn’t have a bar or restaurant, or coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Though there are a few lights provided in the rooms, the windows are pretty small, so they don’t bring in much light. These windows aren’t big enough to draw in the sun, resulting in very dark rooms.

While the hotel does have air conditioning in each room, it doesn’t always do a great job of keeping the areas cool, especially during the hot months.
