The site of the chateau by the river is almost perfect. The location is not too close to the city, so there are plenty of trees surrounding the property. There are many ideal picnic spots, too, and the view of the river is magnificent - especially if you get the rooms with a balcony.
Although the property is not set within the city, it is still easy to access the city by car. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the centre of the city when you're driving. If you prefer something more adventurous, you can book a boat ride to the city.
The rooms in the chateau are spacious, and the bathrooms are quite large. The staff members are some of the friendliest you've ever come across. They are keen to assist you with any issue you may have and can help you make bookings on tours.
It's quite clear that the chateau is known for events like weddings. Most of the work they do is geared to that particular direction. Sometimes, the staff is hard to locate since they are usually making preparations for an upcoming event.
The chateau doesn't have restaurant facilities for evening meals, which would have been ideal considering the distance from the city.
Without a car, getting to or from the city can be very expensive. The boat ride is somewhat pricey as well.
