The Chase Inn, by Good Night Inns, provides en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation in a setting that includes full dining facilities; all close to the Ms 1, 6 and 42 motorways. No food quibbles.

Complemented by good and pleasant service, food is beautifully prepared and served. ‘Answers on a postcard please’, if anything extra could reasonably be expected; particularly at these prices!

Clean, comfortable and warm; they are more than acceptable, particularly given the tariff.

Don’t take free parking for granted. You get it here, but not everywhere else. Similarly, the Wi-Fi is free and good in both the rooms and bar areas.

Negative Reviews

‘Flaming’ awful food.

Very limited choices and not well presented. Time, then, to reap the whirlwind and make a dash down the road to the ‘Harvester’. Still, at least no one’s being upset; staff don’t seem to care either way!

Heated disturbances.

Presumably it’s antiquated, but the heating makes a rotten noise. Turn it off? OK, but the noise remains! Plus, they seem to have invested in ‘lack of’ power showers which are woefully and reliably inadequate.

Check in needs checking out.

Check in is the real 1st impression of any hotel. Incessant ringing of the bell here, results in nil response so, when somebody does eventually turn up, you are in just the right mood to vent your spleen!
