Many enjoyed the specialist spa treatments which they described as being extremely enjoyable and relaxing. Fitness classes also proved popular with those wishing to stay fit and active whilst others chose to spend their time strolling across the hotel's extensive gardens.
All the members of staff have been highly complimented by the guests who said that they felt well looked after for the duration of their stay. Many returning guests were pleased that the staff remembered them by name and said that they enjoyed chatting to the spa therapist and the waiting staff who were always professional and courteous.
Dishes served at the on-site restaurant were described as being full of flavour and made from high quality ingredients. Guests appreciated the wide variety of food on offer especially the extensive range of healthy options.
Some of the guests mentioned that the communal areas including the hotel's lounge were starting to look rather tired. Worn carpets and tatty looking upholstery were just some of the objections brought up by the guests who said that the hotel would benefit from refurbishment.
Quite a few guests mentioned that they would have preferred it if there was a well stocked bar on the premises where they could relax and socialize. Those who wanted to enjoy a few evening drinks had to drive to the nearest local pubs.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 am which some of the guests found to be quite late especially those who needed to leave early in the morning. Some also objected to the fact that dinner is only served until 8:30 pm.
