Avoid booking a room at the front of Hotel Central facing the road. They’re rather noisy because of traffic and even with the windows closed it’s difficult to sleep. Additionally, depending when you travel there may be no A/C and the rooms can get stuffy
While it is walking distance to the centre and Piazza, it is a bit of a trek and the road is busy. It’s even further to the Port of Sorrento and taxis aren’t cheap. You are better to look into bus options.
