The hotel is only a two minute walk into the heart of Macrossan street, the main hub of activity in Port Douglas and it was the proximity to this area that was mentioned frequently by visitors to the hotel.

Families with children loved this hotel according to a number of reviewers who left positive comments about their experience here. Parents specifically commented that they were happy to let their children play in and around the pool as they felt safe doing so.
