About Cavens
Cavens, the home of the Fordyce family, is a small luxury country house hotel some thirteen miles south of Dumfries, next to the Solway. We provide fine dining in true country house style with short daily changing menus featuring the best on offer from very local suppliers and producers.Bedrooms vary in size but all are refurbished to an amazing standard. Add to this the fact that both sitting rooms have open fire and vast amounts of space and the six acres of mature parkland gardens. Cavens is all about understated style and quality.
