A really powerful and reliable shower plus ultra comfortable beds; you can pay much more and still not find these! Some rooms even have a balcony with a glimpse of the sea!

Let’s play the parking permit game.

First, you go through the ritual, ceremonial handing over of the permit by the hotel. Then the fun starts because there’s nowhere to actually park!

Time for a re-vamp.

Not only is it all rather dated; it’s not very clean either. You don’t need to look all that closely to see remnants left by previous guests and subsequently missed by cleaners. There is also a smell in the en-suite and it’s not sea air!

Absence of catering.

Apart from an impressive breakfast, be prepared for no mention of the evening meal option. The bar, too, is liable to be closed. There are plenty of choices nearby, but very few here!
