The Carlton is said to boast stunning sea views from some rooms and many common areas, while the beaches and boardwalk are only a short walk away if you want to get a first-hand experience. On top of this, guests said they were perfectly located for checking out the Tel Aviv Marina.
Guests reported finding modern rooms with understated design and all the necessary amenities, in addition to an excellent spa, gym and free Wi-Fi. According to reviews, the majority of people said they experienced great service from attentive, courteous staff, although a few guests said they found the contrary.
The breakfasts here were said to be delicious, including a wide array of pastries, fruit, breads cheese and eggs, while the restaurant meals were also thought to offer a great range of fare. On that note guests enjoyed the buffet breakfasts even more since they were served overlooking the beach.
A small number of those who stayed at The Carlton mentioned that they considered the hotel expensive, especially since it did not seem particularly outstanding for a 5-star. However, common area renovations have reportedly taken place since these comments were made, so this may have been addressed.
This hotel is apparently next door to a building development described as an eyesore by a few guests, and some of those who stayed occasionally said the pool was a bit small and therefore crowded; but these were not thought to be major issues.
