The bed and breakfast has an amazing location. The views across the local area as well as being able to see the Isle of Arran are mentioned many times in the reviews. Those who have stayed previously have said they will return for this reason.
The food is highly recommended. All cooked by the owner herself and served in the dining room with views over the area.
The house boasts direct access to a stretch of sandy beach which is ideal for those with families wanting a dip in the ocean. Previous guests rate the beach as being very clean.
There are lots of reviews regarding a smell as you walk into the house. It has been described as musty, possible body odour which is very off putting.
The beds are small and have foot ends which restricts the space. Guests have said this has stopped them returning as you expect to have a good night's sleep which is ruined for this reason.
The house is a very dated Victorian style which has been kept this way to retain the original features.
