Hotel Cariblue Beach & Scuba Diving Resort (Montego Bay, Jamaica)

This property is located right by the beach and many parts of the complex provide beautiful sea views.

The front desk staff here in particular are often identified as one of the highlights of guests’ stay at the hotel.

If you are travelling on a budget and this is the cheapest property to come up for your dates it is worth considering for your stay.

Guests have alleged that the photos for this property must be out of date as the property is nothing like these images. Everything is run down with furniture in urgent need of replacement and electrics held together by tape. There are lots of mosquitoes and in general guests do not feel safe here. There are no security deposit boxes and guests have stated that their doors could be easily pried open without a key. Some guests have been advised that the property is under renovation but they have been doubtful any work is underway.

One of the biggest things we take for granted when we travel is the availability of clean water. Guests have said that is not something you can rely on here due to issues trying to get any hot running water and the swimming pool being completely filthy.

This property is located just off a main road and therefore street noise is constant and audible throughout much of the property. There is a bar nearby which plays loud music into the early hours of the morning and if you are a light sleeper this is likely to disturb you.
