Hotel Capriccio Mare (Playa Bavaro, Dominican Republic)

The rooms were thought to be spacious and to provide for the basic amenities of a hotel room. Guests were happy to have room to move around and place their belongings. The rooms also had their own private bathrooms.

The restaurant was thought to be a nice option for guests who wanted to eat on-site. The dining menu was Italian-style and of good quality. Guests also enjoyed the ice cream area that was made on site. Room service is also available.

The staff members were found to be friendly and patient with guests. They tried their best to communicate in English and accommodate those who spoke no Spanish. They made their stay enjoyable and less stressful given their positive attitude.

For guests who needed to have attractions and the beaches within walking distance, this hotel did a poor job of helping them with the request. The hotel is not walking distance from any attractions and they found it was difficult to find a cheap taxi if they could not communicate effectively.

Guests felt the hotel was run down and needed a good renovation. They felt the bathrooms could use newer facilities and there needed to be a general maintenance for the hotel to run smoothly. The plumbing would have a foul smell at times.

The breakfast was found to not be varied enough by guests who stayed here. They found there should be more variety such as more pastries and butter for bread.
