Hotel Caprera (Venice, Italy)

The hotel is conveniently located close to many of Venice's attractions, yet without loud noise as it is situated on a quiet side street. Transport links are easily accessible with the main railway station, Santa Lucia, being just a three-minute walk away. St. Mark's square can be reached within 20-minutes' walk, and sites such as Palazzo Labia, St. Mary of the Friars and Ca' d'Oro are 15-minutes away. There are many local cafes, restaurants and shops nearby.

The rooms have been described as very clean and comfortable, as well as being spacious with a warm and homey feel. The bathrooms are also clean and some rooms feature a bathtub and small private balcony.

Hotel Caprera is a family run hotel which, from guest reviews, prides itself on it's hospitality. Guests reported that the hotel staff are warm, friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one.

Guests reported that the rooms are not air conditioned which can be problematic during the warmer months when the rooms are apt to get hot and stuffy. Some guests also found that they could not comfortably leave the windows as mosquitos would come in.

The hotel offers different rooms sizes, and some guests complained that their rooms were small and felt cramped.

The hotel has three floors and some guests were inconvenienced by the hotels lack of a lift, where it was difficult to carry luggage up the stairs.
