Gainsborough Old Hall is a medieval manor house that was built between 1460 and 1480. It was built by Sir Thomas Burgh and remains today very much as it was during his lifetime. Amongst its historical past visitors this house boasts two different English Kings, Richard III and Henry VIII. Gainsborough Old Hall is now owned by English Heritage, who manage it on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council. This attraction is open Monday through to Saturday throughout the year from 10am until 5pm. From Easter until the end of October it is also open on Sundays from 1pm until 4.30pm. The admission charges are: Adults - £3.90 (6 Euros) Concessions - £2.60 (4 Euros) Children - £2.60 (4 Euros) Family Ticket - £10.00 (15 Euros) English Heritage members - Free A family ticket admits 2 adults and up to 3 children. Facilities include tea rooms and a gift shop. This venue is partly accessible to disabled visitors and an audio tour is included in the admission price.
