About Hotel Cambay Palm Lagoon

Proclaimed in 1916, the Bandelier National Monument encompasses a region of approximately 132 square kilometres on the Pajarito Plateau near Santa Fe. Dating from around 1150 A. D., it was the ancestral home of the Pueblo natives whose heritage is portrayed by way of exhibits and presentations at the Visitor Centre. A number of trails provide the opportunity to explore ancient cliff dwellings, archaeological features such as the "kivas", structures from the Anasazi such as the Tyuonyi village and a variety of petroglyphs. There is also varied fauna and flora as well as a camping site which operates from March to November. The Park and Visitor Centre are open daily and seasonal hours are provided at the website. A gift shop and snack bar is available and summer events include demonstrations of traditional crafts.
