Hotel Calle Joaquin (San Luis Obispo, USA)

For many guests, the biggest advantage in choosing Rose Garden Inn was its location. It's right next door to Margie's Diner, making it easy to grab a bite to eat and there are many other attractions within a short driving distance, including Pismo Beach and Hearst Castle.

It was easy for guests to relax during their stay with Rose Garden Inn's on-site spa. The spa is spacious and tastefully decorated with waterfalls, fluffy towels, and an outdoor pool in the courtyard. Many guests expressed that this feature was beyond compare to other area hotels.

Most guests were thrilled with the service they received at this hotel. The employees were not only warm and friendly, but they were also quite knowledgeable about the local area and happy to impart recommendations and directions to different attractions.

Quite a few guests were disappointed to find that the hotel does not offer breakfast service in the mornings. They felt that for the price point this should have been a complimentary feature, and noted that most of the area hotel's include it. Other were unperturbed, having no qualms about getting their breakfast at the diner next door.

Though Rose Garden Inn goes to great lengths to claim they are newly renovated, guests noted that things still look rather dated. In particular, the quilted bedspreads have a distinctly late 80's look, and many guests expressed that they expected something more modern.

Though most guests reported that their rooms were cleaned perfectly, they could not help but notice that the same degree of attention was not paid to the common areas of the hotel. They complained of dirt and debris littering the hallways which remained there throughout their stay.
