The hotel is known as a gem in the city where families, couples, groups, and business guests can have a quiet stay in a beautiful garden setting. The hotel location is quite nice. If you don't feel like cooking, there are great places around the area for fine dining. You can easily walk to the beach and town center as they are not far. There is shopping close by too.

The pool is clean and a good size. It doesn't feel overcrowded if there are many visitors around the pool area at the same time.
Don't be surprised if your room is overlooking the back of the hotel towards the garbage area. Coupled with the noise early in the mornings of the garbage personnel emptying the dumpsters, it's a nightmare. You may also find people sleeping out on the street in the area.
The hotel is not actually new and pristine. The rooms and appliances are dated. The TV is small with poor reception. The bathroom could use a touch-up as well, and the air conditioning is poor. It does have a bit of charm though and the room is clean. There is no free Wi-Fi, breakfast, or parking either. There's nothing complimentary at the place.
The soundproofing of the hotel is poor. You can hear everything from the other visitors at the facility, and if people are partying, it can go on until the wee hours. If you are a light sleeper, it can get on your nerves. The windows are in poor condition and don't close properly, so you get a double dose of noise from the inside and from the outside.
