Hotel Ca' Valeri is an utterly charming boutique hotel, converted from a historic Venetian house, situated right in the heart of Venice. Each bedroom is newly renovated in traditional but unique Venetian style, each one different to the next. All rooms include basic amenities, with the two junior suites offering a jacuzzi bathtub, and penthouse room with a private terrace overlooking the city. Ca' Valeri offers spectacular views and a small, pretty courtyard for guests to relax in the sun. A fresh continental breakfast is served every morning and the central location ensures restaurants and cafes are nearby. The bed and breakfast is perfectly located in the centre of Venice, just a short walk away from St Mark's Square and all the other historic landmarks of this enchanting city.

Staff members are reportedly very helpful and friendly, always happy to recommend day trips or places to visit in the city.

Truly traditional Venetian decoration.

The rooms are described as looking just as they do in the pictures online: lavish, luxurious and traditionally Venetian. With this aside, the new Whirlpool bathtubs in the bathrooms ensure some modern luxury, too.

Venice is famously expensive. Many guests commented on the excellent value for money found here, compared to other hotels in the area. Everything is clean and everything you need is provided for a relatively low cost.

Staff are very difficult to find.

Whilst helpful when around, many reviews suggest that staff can be rather tricky to find and it often seems as though there isn’t always someone on site, which can be an inconvenience.

Finding the hotel is like searching through a maze.

Whilst very well located in that the hotel is close to the historic city centre, finding it initially is, apparently, maze-like. Reviews do suggest that you find the directions on the hotel website prior to travelling, as these are very helpful.
