Ca Santa Sofia is a small guesthouse on the second floor of an ancient Venetian palace in San Polo, just 50 metres from the Rialto Bridge. Although a simple and economical option, this accommodation is still very centrally located and ideal for getting around Venice. The three guest-rooms are simply decorated with one shared bathroom. Each is bright with tiled floors and equipped with TV, desk and hairdryer. Complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible throughout and check-in is available until 10pm without a surcharge. Guests also appreciate that despite being so well placed, the San Polo area, in which the accommodation is located, is relatively calm.
OK you're not getting three or four star hotel accommodation, but what you are getting is an excellent location for a very reasonable price. Guests are happy that the accommodation is clean and comfortable enough for their needs and they can explore Venice without paying a fortune.
