Situated on the ocean, Citric Soller hotel overlooks the harbour and Tramuntara mountains with most of the guest rooms have stunning views. Standard double and twin rooms are available. These rooms have free Wi-Fi, a phone, in-room safe, and an ensuite with a shower, bathtub, and a bidet. The decor in these rooms is bright, yet simple and rustic. With 45 rooms situated over four floors, Citric Soller offers guests on-site car, scooter and bike rental, a 24 hour front desk and tour and ticket assistance. Horse riding, fishing and hiking can also be arranged at the hotel. The hotel's bar serves light meals and a range of refreshments, and is located on a large terrace that takes advantage of the scenery. A buffet breakfast and Mediterranean cuisine are served in the hotel's restaurant. Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences and Soller Botanical Gardens are less than three miles away.
Many of the rooms have balconies overlooking the harbour and guests thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside and admiring the scenery. Although close to the local shopping area and all the necessary amenities, the hotel is situated in a quiet location which meant that guests did not experience any noise disturbances from the nearby restaurants and cafes.
Guests complimented the staff working at the Citric for their friendly and approachable manner. They helped guests with their issues and requests as well as providing helpful information with regards to the local area. The waiting staff were also said to be attentive and courteous at all times.
The hotel’s location made it very popular with walkers and hikers as there are some great mountain trails close by. Considering the harbour is also a stone’s throw from the hotel, many took the opportunity of going on a boat trip around the Puerto de Soller.
Guests who stayed at the hotel during the warmer weather said that the heat in their rooms was quite intolerable. There are no air conditioning units in the hotel and although fans are provided many guests found them inadequate when it came to cooling down their rooms.
The rooms have been described as having only the basic amenities as there are no phones, hairdryers or air conditioning units. If you like your little luxuries whilst on holiday, it would be advisable to look elsewhere.
There are limited parking places in front of the hotel and some guests objected to having to drive around the nearby streets looking for a free place to park their vehicles.
