Positive Reviews

positive:

Great value for the central location to everything.

This is an affordable city centre option for short term stays. The University of Birmingham is a 15 minute train ride, and Bullring shopping and the Jewellery Quarter are within 10-20 minutes of walking. There's lots to do and see nearby, and the overall

positive:

Spacious accommodations that have what you need.

Everything you need is here, right down to the kitchen gadgets that benefit cooking. Burne Jones House is a nice alternative for when you prefer something to more or less call your own. It's not overly crowded with furniture, so plenty of room to add thin

positive:

Self-maintenance allows for lots of privacy.

Another benefit to renting an apartment space rather than a hotel room is the considerable difference in privacy. You can take care of everything at your own pace, and do what you want without it revolving around curfews, staff, and of course other guests

Negative Reviews

negative:

Street noise can be disruptive to peace and quiet.

One downside to the lodging's location is that because it is a frequently trafficked area, you're going to hear a lot. Construction work, vehicle and pedestrian noise, music, and loud pub goers can affect your sleep.

negative:

Housekeeping does not always do a thorough job.

Housekeeping is not always thorough with helping you maintain the apartment. It's nice to have someone else assist with the upkeep, but you may still have to do brush up where they didn't.

negative:

Building access code is sometimes spotty to use.

The code needed to access the building sometimes falters, and it can be difficult reaching the owner for assistance. Arranging to pick-up the apartment keys is also occasionally tricky to coordinate.
