The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and heated spa, making for a nice winter's retreat. The bedroom choices provide space enough for larger families and have many modern conveniences. There is also a barbecue area and a games room for guest use.

The beach is within walking distance and there are many restaurants and shops that are also close by.

The staff is quite friendly and provides a warm welcome. The rooms provide an affordable rate, especially considering the location and amenities. Some rooms even have laundry facilities.

Much of the furniture is dated and looks shabby, with cuts and scuff marks. Rooms aren't cleaned daily, so the inattention shows in the look and feel of the rooms. Some features, such as the tennis court, is being slowly renovated, but this means guests will have a lack of full amenities and noise and the hassle of construction. Also, there are no TVs in the bedrooms and Wi-Fi is only available in the common areas.

Some units are just a glance away from the beach, but others are quite a hike. Some have lovely garden views and some look out over large car parks.

The bathrooms in the units are in dire need of refurbishments and updating. The toilets routinely leak and plumbing gets stopped up. The older showers and tubs can also pose a concern for those with disabilities or who are older as they aren't designed with modern safety features.
