The food at Brackenrigg Inn is inconsistent, especially at dinner. But the breakfast, which is included in the price of your stay, is generally good.

There seem to be some issues with the Inn’s system as bookings made on-line don’t always translate. Be sure you double check with them directly before heading off on your holiday, just to make sure your reservation is there.

A fly problem.
The bar seems to have a problem with flies, especially during the warmer months when the doors are open to the terrace. This is just not appetising.
