Blue Water Motel is a small Motel situated in Tairua, close to Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove and a host of other beautiful scenic spots. Centrally located in the Tairua Township it is a short walk to local shops, restaurants and clubs. We have a range of rooms, small studios, detached chalets, and 1 and 2 bedroom family units. These rooms can cater for solo travelers up to large family groups of seven. Blue Water Motel offers free unlimited wifi in all rooms. There are kayaks available for guests use which are great for a paddle around the estuary. The motel Hot Tub is popular for a soak at the end of the day of activity, or relaxing. The restaurants are within 3 to 5 minutes walk from the motel and offer excellent food choices. The local bar is 3 minutes walk as well. An alternatives is the fishing club that welcomes visitors and does very well priced meals and drinks.Additionally there are a couple of take away food outlets. We are a beach town and excellent ice-cream is of course available at a couple of places. There are many local attractions including our own Ocean Beach and the estuary as well as further afield. We can give you information on all the local places.
