Several guests express their surprise that an apartment building so central can also be so quiet. The management company do advertise the buildings soundproofing credentials, and guests seem to agree that the rooms are very well insulated, both from street noise and from other apartments.

Despite not being permanently on-site, guests commended the staff for being easily contactable, and very quick to remedy any issue guests brought to their attention. Guests certainly didn't feel as if they were checked-in and then left entirely to their own devices.

The question of value kept popping up in reviews. While no guests thought that the room-rate was particularly cheap, they understood that Oslo was one of the most expensive cities in the world, and reasoned that they had received excellent value for the accommodation they occupied.

While it is a fairly common complaint in newly designed places, several guests mention they did not like the gap between the shower panel and the floor, saying it caused flooding of the bathroom floor. Whether the reason for the gap is in order to be trendy, or to help make cleaning easier, many guests don't like the design.

Quite a few guests commented that, while the kitchens were very well equipped, they contained no staples at all - no salt, pepper, tea or coffee. Many felt that it would be a nice gesture, and fairly simple to put in place if some kitchen basics had been included.

While mattress firmness is very much a question of personal taste, and complaints about this are fairly commonplace and inevitable, there seem to be a bit too many in this instance to dismiss. Guests speak of sagging mattresses that they believe should have been replaced.
