Great swimming pool facilities

Guests enjoyed the amenities including the number of swimming pools, which they commended as clean and well-kept. There were a number of kid-friendly activities including several playgrounds nearby.

The apartments place guests within a three-minute stroll from the beach. Guests said they could easily walk to nearby shops, restaurants and supermarkets -- although many of them added that it is a bit of a uphill climb.

Pay for shaky Wi-Fi

Be prepared to pay a daily fee for using Wi-Fi. Guests said the Prima Sud should try to get with the times by providing it as a complimentary service. But the paying guests complained that the Wi-Fi connexion was slow and inconsistent. They lamented having to pay for bad Internet service.

Don't expect anything extra in your room

The apartments are pretty bare without any soap, shampoo or toiletries. Guests said that it was too Spartan and gave off the feeling that the Prima Sud was being too cheap.

No air conditioning provided

The room can get hot and stuffy in the summers. It doesn't' help that there is no air conditioning. The fans cost extra if you'd like one in the room. But it added to some guests' complaints that there were extra charges for amenities you'd usually find for free at hotels. You can order a fan in advance.
