Big Game Camp – Wilpattu is an exclusive location that offers the best viewing experience of wildlife to all adventurous guests. It is well known for Sri Lankan Leopards, Elephants, sloth Bears and other wildlife, all nourished by a rich ecosystem that includes a variety of exotic flora and fauna. The camp site is located closer to the Southern boundary of Wilpattu National Park, on the boundary of a lake. Its surrounded by bush forest. Meals are often served near the lake where guests can be enchanted by the serenity of nature while enjoying scrumptious meals. The entrance of the park is only 7km from the campsite, and is a matter of 5-10 minutes’ drive in a safari jeep. For accommodation, each camp has furnished tents with attached partitioned toilets. The camp also use locally manufactured, sealable tents to make sure all guests will enjoy a good night’s sleep. There are amenities in the spacious tent which include raised beds with more than comfortable mattresses, pillows, bed linens, towels and a flashlight. Camp also offers a unique game drive according to the package and ensures that the drivers and naturalists are experts and knowledgeable in the area.
