Rooms are very spacious and ultra-clean. At these prices …what more can anyone want? WiFi works perfectly and without the usual dramas. Maybe it misses out on some frills, but all the basics are here in abundance.

Members of staff, from front-desk to those at breakfast the following morning, are exemplary and dedicated to ensuring your happy stay. It's always a pleasure to walk past the front-desk; they are so friendly.

There are lots of good value, appetizing choices very nearby. Don't ignore though, the on-site restaurant where the choice, quality and value will make you think twice before walking, or driving, to a competitor. There's also a good selection of beers and the atmosphere is great. *It's just a pity that they close at 11pm!

It's not overly impressive and with all the options on offer nearby, it's a good idea to try one of those.

Mattresses are ‘low-end' and not very comfortable. Sound insulation is poor so expect some noise from the neighbors. Then, to cap it all, there's that horrid smell that is obviously long-standing and that has no intention of leaving.

There are occasional -but not many - cleanliness issues and you need to keep an eye on the final account if you don't want to leave having been overcharged. Fresh bedding can be somewhat stained for some laundry associated reason. Air con is loud. Beds are uncomfortable. If in a hurry, take the stairs; the elevator is excruciatingly slow. The pool is seasonal, so not always open. Also ... it doesn't have a shallow end.
