There's lots of choices for dining out and something for everyone. A really good, economic and enjoyable possibility is the food options available next door - at the bowling alley ... surprisingly popular with kids! Rafferty's is just along the street too. Hotel breakfast is fine and with extensive choices; plus, there's an impressive selection of coffees.
They can't do enough to help and they're always cheerful and friendly.
To date, nobody has invented a quiet door closer. These things are necessary for fire regulations and safety but the continuous slamming of doors is a real feature here; day and night!
There's no pool here and the list of other amenities only highlights this deficiency.
For those visiting the windy city, the chilling blast of reality is that, even by car, the downtown area is two hours away. That journey isn't a breeze ... so, this isn't a hotel for breaks in, or business visits to, Chicago.
