Many appreciated the original period features of the hotel stating that the building was steeped in history. The interior of the hotel was described as elegant especially the lobby area which was said to be elegant and tastefully decorated. If you prefer older buildings opposed to ultra-modern then you certainly won't be disappointed.
Most of the rooms have very picturesque ocean views and guests thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the spectacular scenery. The picturesque views of the beach and the ocean were described as the highlight of the stay for many of the guests.
Some guests observed that the rooms were not cleaned properly upon their arrival as there were stains and debris from the previous occupants. Many also mentioned that their rooms were not serviced on a daily basis and that their towels and bedding were not changed regularly.
