Everything you want and need is within a stroll this locale. The pier, the beach, cafes and stellar shopping spots like the popular outlet mall are just minutes away. Grab goodies from the grocery store down the street to fill your in-room fridge. Easy parking is available on-site and a complimentary bowl of ripe apples awaits guests in the lobby.

Clean and modern accommodations, although some rooms appear to have been more recently renovated than others. Flat screen televisions, air conditioning/heating facilities, Wi-Fi and kitchenettes with small refrigerators. Tempur-Pedic mattresses topped off with cozy pillows and linens are a delight.

The outdoor heated pool is pristine with a large wall around it for optimal privacy. Very enjoyable for those who'd rather stick close to base instead of venturing out to the beach.

The property is getting older and some of its features reflect this profoundly. Outdated decor, especially beds and sofa beds, make comfort a significant challenge. Toilets leak and bathroom features are moldy with strange-smelling water and dingy towels. Trash is not removed immediately from the premises and the nearby road is quite loud. Air conditioners don't always work any better than a fan would. Thin walls allow conversations to be easily heard between rooms, even at an average volume. Televisions have ongoing struggles tuning in any satellite channels, so forget about the in-room pamphlet describing all the shows you can watch on HBO and others - it's not going to happen.

Even for a self-serve continental buffet, this spread was sad The breakfast room is tiny and the pickings are slim. Opt for an off-site spot instead.

Don't try too hard. The connectivity is weak and short-lived.
