About Beaches Guest House
Beaches Guest House is a traditional guest house in Whitby: it is family friendly and well located to take advantage of the town's undoubted attractions.
There is a choice of guest rooms, which have either en-suite facilities or a private allocated shower room, all rooms are well decorated and have flat screen TVs, hair-dryers, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Beaches Guest House is family friendly and can accommodate the family pet too, but please advise when booking. For babies and toddlers a cot with blankets can be provided as well as a high chair in the dining room. There is free parking available on the streets and seafront.
Breakfast is available each morning with a wide variety of choice including a full English breakfast, with toast and home made preserves. Vegetarian preferences and individual dietary needs can be taken into account.

This is a friendly place to stay, with a landlady who has plenty of local knowledge and information if it is required. The location is very convenient for the town centre, the beach and the harbour, it is also very quiet at night. There are plenty of pubs

Rooms were found to be clean, with plenty of wardrobe and hanging space, and warm when heating was required: guests who stayed in April were pleased to have individually controlled and efficient heating for the room. The double bed was comfortable and ens

The breakfast was tasty and very filling, guests who were there to some “serious” coastal walking found that it fuelled them very adequately! A guest who had requested a wheat free breakfast was efficiently looked after, and given the bonus of hash browns

Hard Bed.
Some guests found their bed to be hard and uncomfortable, although not lumpy, whilst the pillows were flat. The TV was too small for their taste (“binoculars needed to view”). The room was clean, but the shower could have done with updating: best not to s

The sea view from the room was not very inspiring, basically glimpses between and beyond rooftops. It seemed that staff were anxious to remove plates at breakfast almost before guests had finished eating their meal.
