Although former guests have noted that the Beach and Town Motel is in a sketchy section of town, the accommodation is in a good location when it comes to exploring what downtown Hollywood has to offer. The motel is 15 minutes away on foot from Young Circle, while areas such as Hallandale Beach and Hollywood Beach can be reached in less than ten minutes by car.

The large majority of previous guests at the Beach and Town Motel have had issues with the rooms, which are generally regarded as being old and rundown.
