Plymouth Bay Inn & Suites is good for when you need to make a stop because of scheduled plans or as an unexpected interruption. You get a bed, bathroom, enough storage space to lay out your luggage, and access to swimming and working out. It's one of those places to have as back-up, particularly if you do a lot of business traveling.

The hotel is conveniently located near historic sites of interest, and local venues that may be good to check out, while staying in the area. You can easily go out and play a round of golf or hike along Nature trails, or take a scenic drive through the city.

Tobacco odors, stale air, and unknown unpleasant smells are off-putting, and the furniture and fixtures are tattered, dirty, and need replacing. Stained linens and towels and other obvious signs of uncleanliness also make the rooms uncomfortable to stay in.

Customer service isn't in high performance here, as staff show a general attitude of disinterest and disregard. Requests for housekeeping or assistance may go ignored or require so many repetitions that the question just becomes moot.

The vending machines are often out of order, making it disappointing to get ice or cold drinks. The pools are not always open and available for use, so if swimming was an appeal, be prepared to have to skip it.
