Of course the whole La Quinta Group is well known for its pet-friendly policies. Guests confirmed that the hotel was indeed friendly towards pets, extending a warm welcome to both them and their owners. It was also mentioned that the grounds were a good place to walk dogs.

Though it seems most guests did not actually go swimming that did not stop them from enjoying the pool area. It was described as especially lovely and guests with the time available enjoyed spending some of it relaxing poolside.

Though the hotel has rooms with both wood floors and carpets, guests allocated rooms with the wood flooring really seemed to like them. Those with pets, especially, considered them to be much cleaner, since there was no carpet to trap stubborn dirt.

A couple of guests would really have liked longer breakfast hours. Business people often wanted them to start serving breakfast earlier, so they could eat and be on their way, while leisure travelers often wanted to sleep in and eat later.

While it was not a common complaint, it seems that there are at least one or two rooms that are a bit too small. Guests speak about one of the beds being so close to the wall that it was awkward getting into and out of bed.

Unfortunately the convenient location very near the intestate didn't come without a cost. Guests with rooms facing that way spoke of being able to hear the sound of cars speeding by. Light sleepers may perhaps consider bringing earplugs.
