Hotel Baymont By Wyndham Muncie Near Ball State University (Muncie, USA)

Ball State University is an eight-minute drive away and can also be accessed within 12-minutes by local bus. Local shops, cafes, restaurants and convenient stores are also a short drive away.

Guests reported that the rooms are large and spacious and included all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay including a reliable Wi-Fi service, a microwave and mini-fridge as well as complimentary tea and coffee.

The staff have been found to be friendly, courteous and helpful. If problems arise staff endeavor to quickly provide assistance.

Although Baymont Inn And Suites Muncie is advertised as a non-smoking hotel, this may not have always been the case. Several guests reported that, despite assurances that it was a non-smoking hotel, the guest rooms smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke as did some of the corridors.

Some rooms appear to have been recently renovated and updated with new furnishings while other rooms are still in need of an upgrade. Complaints included that the the furnishings were old and outdated, fixtures where found to be broken, carpets were old and worn, paint was found to be peeling off the walls and beds were reportedly old, hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Housekeeping staff cannot always be relied upon to provide a high standard of service. Complaints including that the rooms had hair left in them from previous occupants, the bathrooms were dirty and in some cases mold was found growing on the walls.
