The Gran Bahía Príncipe Esmeralda is situated close to a handful of golf courses, which guests may wish to indulge in. A variety of excursions are also available, including cross country buggies and catamaran trips.

Guests who have stayed at this hotel love the food. A variety of cuisines and dishes served between the buffet restaurants and a la cartes, guests felt they were spoilt for choice and couldn't fault the quality either.

A handful of guests have not been too impressed with the onsite gym at the resort (in the Punta Cana section), advising that the few machines that are there are old and in need of replacing.
