The Babbling Brook in Keswick was established in 2008 and is a family owned and run guest house located in a renovated Victorian home overlooking the River Greta which provides for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. All rooms feature quality mattresses and a flat-screen TV as well as central heating and double glazing on all the windows. Tea and coffee as well as biscuits are also provided. The Babbling brook is very centrally located and near to the Keswick city centre which can be reached by walking in five to ten minutes. From the guest house itself guests also have nice views over Lattrig and the river Greta.
A very good breakfast is provided each morning which consists of tea, coffee, juice, cereals and toast followed by a full English breakfast. The breakfast is very well cooked, filling and tasty.
The family run establishment is very friendly and the owners are welcoming and accommodating and have a wealth of knowledge about the local area and are able to make suggestions to guests about local sights and walks.
