You will probably enjoy the tasty breakfast served in the restaurant next to the hotel. It's the typical continental breakfast fare. The price is considerably cheap and it does the job to get you started for the day.

Getting around will be easy while staying at this hotel. The Eurostar is close by and Gare de Midi railway station is nearby as well. This station is key, as it allows you easy mobility around the city and to other spots like Antwerp and Bruges. The Carrefour express nearby comes in handy too. If you are around during the weekend, check out the Sunday fair where you might find some great bargains on food and clothing.

The hotel neighbourhood is cheesy, and during the night-time hours, it becomes even more decadent. The clientèle can be a bit rowdy, noisy, and outright ill-mannered to other visitors. In addition, the soundproofing of the rooms is very poor. Noise seeps through from the outside and you have noise on the inside from other visitors. Unfortunately, it seems that no one cares!

Though the reception area is impressive, once you are past this area it kind of goes downhill from there. You may find a dirty room with no air conditioning and in need of a good scrubbing. In fact, the hotel looks more like a hostel than a hotel.

Be careful when taking a shower. The water leaks everywhere in the bathroom leaving you in a shallow pool of water.
