Hotel Augustus (Cambrils, Spain)

Most guests stay at Hotel Augustus for its beachfront access. Guests can easily walk to two different beach areas. One is immediately in front of the hotel, and the other is a leisurely walk down the sand.

Guests agree that the beds in the hotel are always comfortable. The rooms are kept clean and well-organized. You can also get suites that are spacious enough to accommodate a larger family, which also comes with a seating area with a sofa and chairs.

Between the beachfront access and all of the activities for kids offered in and around the hotel, it's a great place to take your family. There are talent shows and other events for the kids to enjoy. Many return guests have gotten to know one another and plan to meet up each year.

The fact that there are so many kids running around at the hotel in and of itself means that you might have a noisy stay. Add to that the fact that some events for the kids that are run by the hotel take place after dark and you can expect some late evening noise.

Guests don't like the fact that the only free Wi-Fi available is in the lobby. Expect to join the large crowds sitting in the lobby on their computers if you plan to make it a working vacation.

Many guests were disappointed by the size of the pool in comparison to the number of people trying to use it. Also, towels for poolside are not offered by the hotel. Though some lounge chairs are available to use in the pool area or on the beach, there are not enough of them to accommodate all guests.
