Like the rest of the property, the rooms are decorated and furnished in a charming rustic style, with solid wood furniture and lovely wooden floors. They feature all the amenities you’ll need for a great stay, including en-suite bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. Summer guests will be able to enjoy the lovely seasonal garden, while those travelling in the winter months can ask the hosts about snowmobiling tours, skiing at Mont Grands Fonds and many other activities. A hearty country style breakfast is served every morning, with the menu changing every day, so those staying for a bit longer won’t get bored. The town of La Malbie is just over two miles from Auberge La Mansarde, but guests shouldn’t miss taking a few trips deeper into the gorgeous Charlevoix countryside.
It as rare to read a review that did not praise the owner in some way. While guests certainly said that she was welcoming and friendly, what most impressed them was that she was very “hands-on”, not delegating her responsibilities in a way that it then became diluted. Guests also felt that she had a wealth of local knowledge and provided terrific information and recommendations.

Quite a number of guests felt that their mattress was a bit too firm for their taste. It is notoriously difficult to select a mattress with broad appeal, and it does not appear that this B&B succeeded in that difficult task.
