Hotel Asia Inn (Hong Kong, Hong Kong)

Guests of this small hotel were pleased to find themselves within very close walking distance of Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, a perk that brought the wider Hong Kong area into easy reach. Many were also happy to note that some of Kowloon's best known sights - including the Avenue of Stars - were also located nearby. Given the great access to public transport offered by this property - as well as the range of nearby attractions - many felt that this bijou hotel represented very good value for money in Hong Kong.

The reception team at this hotel is fantastically friendly. Most felt that this gave this big-city property a warm atmosphere. Indeed, it was something that certainly impressed guests, many of whom mentioned staff by name in their reviews of this property.

The rooms here are kept clean and tidy, with many commenting very positively on the overall level of cleanliness here. Additionally, many were pleased to note that the in-room amenities - especially the Wi-Fi and air conditioning - were both good and strong.

Guests commented that, at first glance, this property looked anything but welcoming. Indeed, the dirty and dated exterior had many bracing themselves before they even walked into the lobby.

Many reported being instantly accosted by an array of hawkers and tradesmen immediately upon entering this hotel. This was an unpleasant experience for new arrivals.

There were also a consistent number of complaints regarding the lift here. In addition to being small and slow, many were dismayed to find that the floor of the lift absolutely filthy. This was something that, once more, created a less than pleasant first impression of this property.
