The Ascendance Harborside offers 4-star rated B&B accommodation in a Victorian Heritage Property just a 10 minute drive from downtown Halifax. The property dates back to 1891 when it was built for the Auditor General of Nova Scotia, and enjoys the leafy surroundings of a large garden with terrace. Each of the guest rooms has been renovated and sports its own, individual decor. All bathrooms are en-suite and come with bathtubs, robes, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers. One of the rooms has a whirlpool bath and all feature cable TV, a dresser, telephone, DVD, and wireless access to the Internet. A hot breakfast with home made crepes is included in the price of the room and served in the B&B's formal dining room. Guests are welcome to make use of the Media Room where a big screen TV, guest PC, Wii and board games can be found next to a library and a craft station that will help to keep little guests entertained. For more relaxing and quiet moments there are the guest lounge with its 24 hour honour bar and the Ascendence studio where pampering make overs are offered. Pets are not accepted.
