Previous guests rated the hotel's location highly, as the centre is an easy ten-minute walk away. There are other attractions near the property, and guests had an easy time locating them using the map the reception desk has provided. Almost all metro stations that can lead one to other beautiful districts of France can be reached within ten to 15 minute walk.
While the property is recently refurbished, many of its loyal guests noted that the hotel retained many of its Art Deco style features. Guests were awed by the attention to detail paid to each and every rooms - totally different from rooms at budget chain hotels.
Guests had no difficulties speaking with the receptionists as they speak very good English. Moreover, they are knowledgeable and informative, and as some reviewers pointed out, seemed always in a good mood for a chat.
Rooms can get so hot; many guests commented that it felt like a sauna inside. Air conditioning in the rooms cannot be controlled by the guests while staying inside their quarters, and always had to go out to the reception to have the temperature adjusted.
Guests were annoyed that the breakfast area was so tight that it made eating uncomfortable. There were also obvious lack of tables and chairs. While foods served were delicious, guests did not enjoy the breakfast because of the tiny breakfast area.
Parking is free, but many guests were not able to enjoy this complimentary offer because the car park was full the moment they arrive. Others have commented that the way leading to the car park is narrow, and navigating through the space is difficult, especially for those driving large vehicles.
