Hotel Art Blue (Venice, Italy)

Art Blue Venice rooms have recently enjoyed an extensive renovation and it really shows with fresh new furnishings and new floors. Rooms are beautifully decorated in traditional Venetian décor and matching colour palette and are very clean and well-maintained.

Staff at Art Blue are warm and friendly with most able to offer assistance in English. Service is fast and efficient throughout including the restaurant and café, limited-hours room service and front desk.

The location is ideal for that true romantic Venetian experience. The property is within walking distance of the most iconic attractions in Venice including the Grand Canal and Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti. Every direction one turns is a feast for the eyes. The café is also a favourite lunchtime spot for many of the Gondola pilots, in itself a true Venetian experience.

The Wi-Fi signal in the rooms is not good at all with barely any usable signal strength available at any time. The signal in the café/restaurant is a bit better but for real Wi-Fi it is best to try elsewhere.

The room air conditioners tend to let down the overall experience and fail to adequately cool the room down, particularly on very hot days or evenings.  Guests are forced to leave windows open in the evenings, allowing mosquitos in and leading to an altogether uncomfortable experience.

Room service hours at Art Blue are limited and the service is not available twenty four hours a day. Breakfast is served in-rooms but it may be best to enquire room service availability beyond this time.
